Security awareness training built from your company, not a catalog
Hand Herd a policy, a threat advisory, or one sentence describing what your team needs to know. It writes the lesson, grounded in your own documents and your own stack, and delivers it in Slack or Teams.

One size fits all training doesn't work
It's generic.
The same courses ship to a hospital, a bank, and a Series B SaaS company, so they can't reference any of them. Not your policies, the tools your team logs into every morning, or the threat that hit last Tuesday.
It's an interruption.
The platform that no one remembers their login for. The reminder emails (ignored). The manager nudges. The team-lead follow-up. The bottom of the to-do list for the entire organization.
It's forgotten.
Generic content gets skimmed, forgotten by February, and leaves you chasing the same names in month three. It's a system problem, and it's the one thing the library model can't fix.

Watch a lesson get built.
Describe what happened in a sentence and Herd builds and ships the training. What used to be a multi-week content project becomes a same-day response, which turns a live threat into an organization-wide hardening effort instead of an incident write-up.

Control and trust.
Turn on reviews and nothing goes live until a named reviewer approves it. HerdAI cites what it was built from, generates a preview, and allows you to edit simply by talking to it. HerdAI writes the draft, you still press publish.

The right format, in the tool they already have open.
Content formats, including conversational AI, images, video, and quizzes, are delivered in microlessons to keep users engaged. Your team completes the training in Slack or Teams, so they never have to leave their flow of work.

Assign it once and let the program run.
Building the roster, scheduling, reminders, escalations, and reporting are all taken care of. Every assignment, completion, and score is tracked and mapped to SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and the rest of your frameworks. When the audit comes, the training evidence is ready. Outfox Health went from zero to SOC 2-ready with the whole team trained in a week. Read how →

At past companies we had at least 1 or multiple people dedicated to security awareness and managing the LMS platform. It was an entire full time job. With Herd I can do it as just a small part of my job. And in a way employees actually enjoy.

The auditor checks that the training happened, that the right people completed it, and that you can produce the record. Herd exports per-user completion with timestamps and pushes framework completions daily. On the content itself: nothing publishes until a person approves it, you can require named sign-off before anything goes live, and a lesson built from your policy quotes your policy.
Import it. Herd builds a training from a SCORM, and you can edit it like anything else in the library. It exports back to SCORM too, so nothing you build here is trapped.
No. Employees never log in. Lessons arrive as a Slack or Teams DM and finish in the thread. Anyone without chat gets a signed browser or email link that needs no password. Only admins and the operators you designate use the web app.
Yes, and plenty of teams start there. Herd ships a catalog of tracks you can clone into your library and edit. Use it as the floor, but it shouldn't be the whole program.
Most frameworks require it at least annually, but behavior changes on cadence, not ceremony. Herd is built for a continuous program: short lessons year-round, so the habits stick.
Personal data is never used to train LLMs, AI tools or any other feature we deploy. Herd is SOC 2 Type II certified, and sub-processors, retention and data residency are documented in our trust center.
Training is one pillar. The same platform runs cross-channel phishing simulations across email, SMS, QR, and voice deepfakes, AI enablement training, and an agent that answers policy questions in Slack and Teams. The platform overview shows how they fit together.
